Learning and Participation Strategy (2011 ongoing)
KoKo Consulting initially produced the first combined music and dance Learning and Participation strategy. This was guided by an audit of performance, process and operation as well as an assessment of sector trends and an in-depth needs research of target audiences. A further three projects have supported delivery of this vision. The last saw KoKo Consulting help secure major funds from the Department for Education and Major for London to improve subject knowledge across London’s specialist secondary school music teachers.

“We have consistently enjoyed working with Nikki, and benefited hugely from her expertise. Her initial work on our music and dance Learning and Participation strategy has already had a real impact on what we do and how we do it. She has also delivered great work evaluating our flagship Animate Orchestra project (2012/2013), and most recently in managing a number of our partners to secure a major development bid from the London Schools Excellence Fund. Moreover, Nikki has become a valued ‘critical friend’, able to engage with Trinity Laban staff at all levels of both detailed planning and conceptual thinking. If you want someone who can be trust to work across departments or complex partnership groups to fast forward your organisation, look no further.” strong>Professor Anthony Bowne, Principal, Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance
